For schools, the safety of children is paramount, so restricting and controlling entry and exit is of very important. In the event of a fire, it is important to know immediately who is in the building. In many cases, students are disorderly and lose their IDs, so appropriate solutions must be put in place.
Reception and guard service
To improve student safety, we recommend installing turnstiles or other access gates at the entrance so that every entry and exit is recorded. Based on the stored photos of students, reception staff can immediately see on the monitoring interface if someone is trying to gain unauthorized access using another person's card.
Student ID as a credential
Predor can use many types of credentials (cards, wristbands, stickers, digital barcodes, etc.), but students often lose them. A practical solution is to use the student ID as the credential, since students are likely to always have it with them.
Emergency response and evacuation
In schools, it is especially important to know exactly who is inside the building. In the event of a fire alarm, it must be determined as quickly as possible if someone is still inside. The Predor mobile app and the real-time evacuation list help with this.
Emergency plans
In the event of an armed attack, one of the preconfigured plans can be activated immediately, even at the push of a button. This allows us to automatically block the attacker's path while freeing escape routes and sounding an emergency alarm.
Customization
By keeping track of students' timetables, absences and lateness can be monitored. It can also be ensured that minor students may leave only when they no longer have classes. With software integration, for example, a parent can authorize early departure from their own mobile phone, which the reception staff can see in real time.
Entry and exit aligned with the timetable
It can be configured so that if a student still has a class and does not have parental or teacher permission to leave, the system will not let them out.
